Going in for a midnight meal I should have known that the service was going to be terrible because this place is very urban. The hostess wouldn't make eye contact and, after we were seated, we waited 15 minutes before walking out as no one came over to take our order. In the meantime we watched the three servers doing anything they could to not have to do any work.
There were four other tables like ours, waiting to have their orders taken. We heard the cook cursing in the back while one of the servers walked back and forth wiping the empty counter and shuffling salt and pepper shakers around. Two of the waitresses would take turns speaking with friends that were at a table, refilling their drinks while the rest of us sat at empty tables. If anyone ever gives out awards for avoiding work, the staff at this Dennys wins. I have never seen such laziness.
Then four black girls came in loudly talking and laughing. One of them used the f word every third word until one customer asked her to please watch her language. She rolled her eyes to the other three. Class is something missing from here. Keep driving to eat in a better neighborhood.
