Calling on a Sunday, i expected to pay more, but not $360.00 for a 1/2hr visit to replace a $5 part! I could almost have bought a new water heater for that amount,
My fault for not asking, but it would have been nice if they would have offered that information up front! After the fact, I was told by someone that they are one of the most expensive plumbers in the area, To top this off, when I went to shower, I had to turn my hot water on full because he did not turn the thermostat up enough! Inexcusable in my book!
That being said, the plumber arrived quickly, was nice and replaced my thermocouple.
I did learn they only carry one brand of hot water heaters because they are made in the US. I applaud their support of US made products..
