When my A4 left me stranded in a parking lot I had no no clue who to call. I had poor experiences with dealer mechanics in the past and didn't want to have it towed there. So while waiting for a tow truck I did some quick research and found Kudos. I spoke with Sydney who was more than happy to assist. Over the next day, Sydney's guys diagnosed the problem, updating me regularly. Come to find out, the timing chain slipped. Not a cheap fix. Sydney was all too familiar with the issue and had seen it before. He knows his Audis. Sydney's guys continued to dive in to get an the extent of the damage over the next few days, Sydney calling me as they went, in case at any time I decided it was too much to fix. The extent of the damage was pretty severe but I decided to have it all repaired. All in all Kudos had the car for about 8 business days and I got an update almost 2 times a day on the progress and ways we may be able to save some $$ (by locating out of state parts which, while delaying the fix, saved me almost $1000). The A4 now drives like new again and Sydney has gone out of his way to check up on me after the service to ensure the job was done right. At the end of the day, I feel I got the best service at a cost that was well under what I would have paid at the dealer. While I hope to never have to deal with a repair like that again, I am happy to know I have a mechanic I can trust. Thank you again Sydney and your team at Kudos!
