Another mainstay in St. Charles. Pretty lively crowd, standard bar menu, but pretty clean. I've never tried their famous "pickle shot."

Wonderful experience after the bouncer. The bar is an excellent escape for any couple trying something new when it comes to St. Charles nightlife but unfortunately our experience was very sour. My wife was accosted by one of the bouncers and had to go through, "special identification procedures" which included a full interview and additional "pat down" by the bouncer who assured us it was all "part of the process" after he took her outside for no apparent reason. It's a wonderful place but please avoid a shorter and 'more round', I hate to be mean, African American bouncer since he seems to be more focused on the clientele than his profession.
