Imagine my dismay as i excitedly went in to get a strap, some picks, and a beginner book for my newly acquired guitar. This is a retirement dream. First, I was ignored. Then I asked for help and the guy pointed to the straps and couldn't find the picks. The second guy at the desk said he could help then got on the phone. I stood there and finally asked a third guy who shoved a book at me. I then picked out a strap, found picks and made my purchase. No one was friendly or helpful. I know this was not a big deal for them but it really lowered my expectations. Now I really need some help to see if my strings and action are ok for a beginner. Where can I take my guitar??
