Randall Johnston took on my husband's case. From the beginning, my husband and I made it clear to Johnston that our case happened out of Boone County, and Johnston said he would be willing to work with us. Long story short, he asked for our payment, which we gave to him, but then made little to no contact with my husband about the case. Johnston also did very little to work with the prosecuting attorney from the county where our case happened. 1 week before my husband was to appear in court, Johnston calls me (not my husband, who had been trying to contact Johnston for several days) to let us know that we need to find a new lawyer because he could no longer help us. Oh, and of course, he kept our money.
