After telling me he would pay me $10 an hour, Tracy paid me minimum wage for two days of work in sub-freezing temperatures. While I was working, an 18 year old guy who had worked for him came to the site complaining Tracy had cheated him out of money. I’ve worked with a lot of contractors, and as soon as I started work for Tracy, all the red flags were up. In an effort to make me feel insignificant, Tracy bragged that he’s gone through something like 30 different guys in the last two years. Someone needs to let him know that that is not a positive thing. From what I could tell, he does good work, but if that’s how he treats his workers, I’d say don’t mess with him.
