Do Not go to this vet if you are 18 y/o, as they will treat you like you are a child. My dog started having seizures so my boyfriend and I brought her in immediately to be seen. Right off the bat we were greated with “And what are you here for?” In a snarky, rude tone. I had told the receptionist multiple times that she had all of her shots including Parvo, they still didn’t believe me and told me to get my dog off of the ground (mind you she is still seizing). They treated us as an emergency situation which I do praise and saw her immediately. The deposit was $250, but at the time I only had $164 in which she saw my Nala anyways which I am so thankful for. They told us to call back around 6-7 and kept accusing us of poisoning her with marijuana even after we discussed multiple times that it’s not possible. We called back and they said they’d call around 8-9pm; no news, just to call back. I thought that was a little odd, so we went down to see for ourselves around 8-9. Again, snarky tone and rude dismissal saying, “I’m making the phone calls now. Your dog is fine we will call you tomorrow” and shoved us out the door. Tomorrow rolls around and still, no call. I loaded my mother up and went to the office. Immediately after my mom said we needed to check on Nala, the tone of voices changed, and they were more willing to share information on how she was actually doing. Note: MY MOTHER IS NOT THE OWNER OF MY DOG! She doesn’t know when her shots were, who her vet is, nothing. They completely dismissed me and treated me as if I was a child.
This review is NOT on the vet, Melissa, but on her rude staff. Making remarks on how they hate taking care of fat people because they are sweaty and gross. Melissa is a wonderful vet, but her staff will surely send her down the drain.
