I called Wyatt and he came over quickly to give me an estimate. Told him what I needed (3 vents installed) and asked when and how much. He quoted me a number that was much higher than most told me they paid, but he said he was able to get to it in 2 weeks or less. All the roofers I called said flat out no they were not interested due to it not being a full roof job. No one cares to make money anymore it seams. He said he would email me a bid of the agreed price, but never got the email. I emailed him asking when they were coming since it had been a week (just wanted to know so I could plan) and that he never sent me the bid. He replied back with "I said it would be 2 weeks...." etc. Had a bad tone to it. I was simply asking so I could plan. He then said late this week or early next, that was 2 weeks ago. Today out of the blue a truck pulls up with roofers saying we are here to do your vents. I was in the middle of a phone call for work (work from home). The roofers were no biggie, told them what I wanted and the translator repeated it to the crew. They were in and out in less than an hour. Victor, the boss was very nice and polite. I am not upset at the roofers, as it should be someone from Zucca calling me to give a heads up. Just not a very good vibe from this company at all with the failure of communication and tone of emails. Price was high, but the work is done. Hopefully the vents do not leak. Doubt I will use these guys again.
